Who the Program Supports
The Dream Scholar Program® helps students facing personal, financial, family, school, or community challenges continue on the path toward college success. We are inspired by models such as the Dell Scholars Program and have shaped our criteria around persistence, need, and potential.
Basic Eligibility
- Participation in a Dreams to Reality Foundation® approved college-readiness program in grades 11 or 12
- Graduating from an accredited high school this academic year
- Minimum GPA of 2.4
- Demonstrated financial need
- Eligible to receive a federal Pell Grant in the first year of college
- Planning to enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program after high school graduation
What We Look For
- Determination to succeed
- Clear future goals and plans
- Ability to communicate challenges overcome or still being faced
- Self-motivation in challenging coursework
- Demonstrated financial need for assistance
